week 2: Learning Autonomy process

After reading the article “Effectiveness of the Integration of ICT Tools and Activities to Foster Awareness as the First Stage to Reach Learning Autonomy” My first view for this article was that it could be boring, but when I start to read I found some aspects that really like it of the use of ICT tools in the Learning Process.

First, I read how students develop their language proficiency in all of the skills of the Second Language.
Second, it is interesting to see a lot of authors in this article who is quoted, and that is important because this research means that is true; also, authors see that technology helps to grow student´s motivation and not only improves their proficiency, and it is important.

Finally, another aspect that teachers have to know and we have to take into account and provide good explanations and find some strategies to help and incentive to understand all topics and get interested about the progress of student. In conclusion, me as a students and as future teacher this article encourage me to do my best work, and help in different ways to my students in their progress and process as learners, and taking into account all the technological resources.

Week 1:technology has changed

Something I learned from this article and that every teacher should know was that in this days technology has changed in different ways. In the past, learning had multiple processes like discovery, expression and development. Nowadays, technology (like computes) are useful for language teaching because teachers are only facilitators and students have to adapt prior knowledge of what they have learned.

Also, it was an excellent idea creates CALL software because it provides in different variety of media and realistic methods for students practice a skill area, and it does not have any cost, and videos has to be interactive because students are attracted by the sight of interactive videos. Moreover, the World Wide Web has an impact on education because it can be used in a variety of ways for example linguistic exercise like research said; besides, students can communicate via e-mail and that´s perfect because they can create groups that can share educative information; also, students can communicate via e-mail with their teachers to ask or clarify some ideas.

Students can find new information on internet everyday instead of go to the library and find some books, and students select the materials; besides, games are useful in their ability to processes the natural language, and I agree with that because students can fun when they learn and that is a good idea.
